Small Tool. Real Utility.

Maker Level is a compact, modular magnetic level designed for everyday tasks and hands-free alignment. It’s built for the kinds of quick, real-world tasks where pulling out a full-size tool isn’t practical — but accuracy still matters.

Designed in our small fabrication studio and refined through extensive prototyping and community feedback, Maker Level is meant to be carried, used often, and trusted when you need a reliable reference within reach.

What Makes It Different

  • Hands-free magnetic hold
Locks confidently onto steel surfaces, freeing both hands while you adjust, fasten, or align.

  • Modular sliding base
A magnetic sled snaps securely underneath, adding stability, line-level functionality, and a smooth, tactile sliding motion.

  • Glow-in-the-dark vials
Dual level vials remain visible in low-light spaces like garages, cabinets, and job sites.

  • Built-in ¼″ bit socket
Integrated into the base for quick adjustments and light-duty fixes in tight spaces.

  • Compact everyday carry size
Designed to live comfortably in a pocket, tool pouch, or on a keychain — ready when you need it.

Designed with fully captive magnets, durable glass-fiber reinforced material, and thoughtful details throughout.

Built With Purpose

Maker Level isn’t meant to replace full-size levels or precision instruments. It’s designed to handle the everyday alignment tasks that come up constantly — the moments when having a small, reliable reference tool makes the difference between guessing and getting it right. Designed and prototyped in our small design and fabrication studio, where we build functional objects from natural and industrial materials. Every detail is being refined through real-world use and direct feedback from different communities.

We’re preparing to launch Maker Level on Kickstarter and bring it into wider production without compromising the materials, details, or care that shaped the design.
