Maker Level is a compact, modular magnetic level designed for everyday tasks and hands-free alignment. It’s built for the kinds of quick, real-world tasks where pulling out a full-size tool isn’t practical — but accuracy still matters.

Designed in our small fabrication studio and refined through extensive prototyping and community feedback, Maker Level is meant to be carried, used often, and trusted when you need a reliable reference within reach.

Two Parts Designed to Work Together

Maker Level is built as a two-part system: a main magnetic level that functions independently, and a sliding magnetic sled that snaps securely underneath. Both parts contain fully captive high-strength magnets, allowing the tool to lock confidently onto steel surfaces, hold alignment hands-free, and stay exactly where you place it. The sliding magnetic action is satisfying and fidget worthy.

Built With Purpose

Maker Level isn’t meant to replace full-size levels or precision instruments. It’s designed to handle the everyday alignment tasks that come up constantly — the moments when having a small, reliable reference tool makes the difference between guessing and getting it right. Designed and prototyped in our small design and fabrication studio, where we build functional objects from natural and industrial materials. Every detail is being refined through real-world use and direct feedback from different communities without compromising materials, details, or durability.

Engineered for Precision and Durability

Maker Level is produced using industrial-grade glass-fiber reinforced high-temperature PLA. After extensive testing, this material was selected for its rigidity, dimensional stability, and long-term durability. It delivers a solid, confident feel in the hand while maintaining excellent wear resistance for daily use in a shop, garage, or tool bag.
