An everyday object, reconsidered
MONOLITH was designed around a simple idea: make one useful object that earns its place in the home.
Machined from solid brass or stainless steel, it brings a package opener, bottle opener, straightedge, and satisfying everyday weight into one simple form. There are no moving parts and nothing added just for the sake of it — each feature is built directly into the object.
The walnut stand gives MONOLITH a place to live when it isn’t in use, keeping it visible, within reach, and ready for the next small task.

Each MONOLITH begins as solid brass or stainless steel and is cut, shaped, refined, and finished in-house.
The process combines digital fabrication with hands-on work at every stage — from machining the form to smoothing edges, finishing the surface, and fitting each piece to its walnut stand.
Working this way lets us control the details that matter: the feel in the hand, the crispness of each edge, the way the finish catches light, and the character the material develops over time.
Made in small batches, one piece at a time.
